Cadaqués: a little paradise on earth

Cadaqués

Some curves and the Mediterranean Sea separating this little paradise from the rest of the universe: Cadaqués. One of the most painted villages of the world, appears as a destination in the book: 1000 places to see before you die and served as a refuge for Salvador Dalí.

Outra opção bastante óbvia é: curtir a praia.

Salvador Dali was born in the region, chose the city to be your place of summer (he certainly was very good with the guy up there to deserve it), today the house turned museum and himself won a localized statue of beachfront Mediterranean Sea.

I confess that the only thing that crossed my mind was even explore that little piece of land. Flanei aimlessly and without direction across the border. When I realized, I had walked from one end to another.

Read too: Besalú, another village in the area.

Look at the city from the front is fascinating. The houses that are all misaligned let any crazy perfectionist, but to me, enchanted me. White and blue are the two colors that will see, like Greece houses are all decorated with doors and windows of the same tone, the color of the sea.

Oops, I was wrong with the colors. The orange of the roofs are also the view and are themselves showing all the misalignment and the charm of the buildings.

Already on the sea, which was to be of a single color also becomes a watercolor. Small boats of fishermen take care of the water and lead me to reflect: how is it leave for work and come home every day with this view?

I know not to fish, but if anyone is in need of a trainee I'm applying myself.

Soon it is possible to understand why the town is a source of inspiration for artists. I do not have the gift of painting content myself with the doors pictures and the memory of a paradise.

The village is located 170 km from Barcelona and 73 Km of Girona.
